The Quaker Studies Collaborative provides an avenue for communication and creates space for cooperation among Quaker Studies organizations; that is, organizations focused on the study of the history, testimonies, theology, and practices of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). The collaborative first met in 2023 and now meets annually.
Quaker Studies Collaborative membership includes groups such as:
Canadian Friends Historical Association
Conference of Quaker Historians and Archivists
Friends Association for Higher Education
Friends Historical Association
Quaker Studies Research Association
Quaker Studies Unit, American Academy of Religion
Quaker Theological Discussion Group (QTDG)
If you represent an organization focused on Quaker Studies, please contact friends@swarthmore.edu to request to join.
We communicate via a Google Group https://groups.google.com/g/quaker-studies-collaborative/about.
